The gardens are filled with Olive Trees, and the gardens are well maintained. The villa is near to the famous white city of Ostuni, and only a 5 minute drive from the main town of Carovigno, with its Michelin Star restraunt. There are many bars and restaurants in Carovigno, and the town is open all year round, so for those of you wanting to holiday in the winter months, this villa would be ideal, as it has a wood burning stove, and heated pool.

Puglia is now one of the top holiday destinations, but don’t let this put you off, as the towns nearby of San Michele, Carovigno, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ceglie are still relatively unspoilt by tourism.

The World Heritage Site of Alberobello is about a 30 minute drive. Here you will find many tourists, and little shops selling little trinkets, and locally produced james, chutneys, olive oils etc.

The restaurants here are also very good, but maybe a little bit more pricey!

During the summer months, this area of Italy celebrate many festas, and this is an ideal time to visit, as there are celebrations in the Piazza with flag waving, many Sagra celebrations, with food and wine. Street Artists, bands, and classical music can be found each evening (still to publish dates for 2017).
